‘SAIRASS IS A SECULAR AND SOCIAL ORGANISATION’
WELFARE ACTIVITIES
SAIRASS organizes donation camps During winter season. Distribute woolens, blankets, clothes, shoes, House hold items, food items to the economically weaker sections.
Poor feeding organizes on any particular occasion like Festivals, Birth Days, Marriage Anniversaries or any other occasion. Recently SAIRASS has extended its activities by opening an Ayurveda, Naturopathy & Alternative medicine centre “AYUSHKAR” for Harmonizing body, mind and spirit at B-1/298, Yamuna Vihar, Delhi.
SAIRASS activities are witnessed by many of the local leaders, eminent personalities and other VIPs. SAIRASS activities are widely covered by local print media.
HEALTH
SAIRASS has adopted initially four rural areas – Hasanpur, Mandavalli, Joshi Colony, and Kichidipur Villages and a Leprosy Ashram, for the developmental and welfare activities.
Apart from organizing regular and Mega Health Camps on periodical intervals to extend medical help to the needy, SAIRASS is jointly running an Ayurveda, Naturopaathy & Yoga Centre with ‘Nandavanam’, a Kerala based Ayurveda centre. SAIRASS organises blood donation camps on certain occasions like Gandhi Jayanti, and so on.
EDUCATION
SAIRASS is extending its help to the poor students in the form of school fees, uniforms, shoes, and study material ( include books, pencils, pens, erasers, sharpeners, drawing colours etc.)
SAIRASS started non formal education to the young maids and girls since 2007 and after completion of course they get admissions in government schools.
Employment
SAIRASS is mainly working in and around Delhi and also running an Vocational centre at Visakhapatnam imparting training to the economically backward and destitute women in Tailoring, Embroidery, Laces making, Jute items preparation, glass paintings, bamboo works and other handicrafts.
SAIRASS organized a handicrafts exhibition in Andhra Pradesh Bhavan on the occasion of Andhra Formation Day in Delhi. The exhibition stall was visited by Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy, C.M. Andhra Pradesh. He appreciated and encouraged the members to avail the financial support with minimum interest rate extended by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh to expand its activities .
