SAIRASS Distributed Carona Viruss preventives.
This is was the year where the entire world went in panic mode when the Lives were threatened by disastrous Pandemic “The COVID19”. It entered our lives like a monster ruining the humanity. It was the time when the Life had come to a “Stand Still” with restricted movement and negligible interactions.
As you all are aware, Awareness, Cleanliness & Social distancing are the wonderful tools to protect oneself from this monster. The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is to be well informed about the disease and how the virus spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by staying at least 1 metre apart from others, wearing a properly fitted mask, and washing your hands or using an alcohol-based rub frequently. Get vaccinated when it’s your turn and follow local guidance.
This was the time when our organisation “SAIRASS” took bold initiatives in serving the society in it’s own little way. While the world was busy discovering the protecting tools, we at SAIRASS started working on educating people on the tools of protections along with distributing the protection tools such as MASKS, SANITISERS, etc. amongst the economically weaker sections in particular apart from general public. SAIRASS distributed around 5000 masks, sanitizers, gloves, ration, medicines, Clothes etc. to the security guards, riksha pullers, taxi drivers, auto drivers and truck drivers etc. These items were distributed continuously for five days from 11th to 15th April, 2020 during the epidemic period. Many low income people as mentioned above were benefitted.
SAIRASS didn’t stop here. it joined hands with “SAI RASOI” in helping the under privileged sections in and around I.P. Extension by distributing the food to them. Please recall many of families had lost their livelihood during the pandemic. This act of providing food to such groups had helped them to survive without starving.
Apart from distribution of dry ration like Atta, rice, dal, oils and other items cooked food was also given daily for three months to the migrant laborers, and other poor and needy persons along with “Sai Rasoi” from April-June, 2020.
SAIRASS collaborated with another organization ““Yek Prayasa”and distributed PPE kits, Sanitizers, masks etc. to the medical and para medical personnel through local MLA Sri Om Prakash Sharma on 13th April, 2020.
Apart from the protective tools, SAIRASS also distributed Preventive Homeopathy medicine for Covid 19 “Arsenicum album 30” approved by M/O AYUSH and also recommended by eminent homeopathy doctors along with Ayrveda preventive ‘KADA’ powder consisting of ingredients like ‘cloves, kali mirch, sont, tulsi, muleti, giloya, dalchini, aswagandha, and choti pipli etc. to the residents of various Societies in and around I.P. Extension.
All this would not have been possible without the support of all our members who had volunteered in this noble cause, keeping aside their own fears and worries in such frightening environment. SAIRASS is earnestly thankful to all those for their wonderful efforts. Also we are equally thankful to all those donors who had come forward to donate liberally both in cash and kind which had helped us in carrying out the service even in the absence of any funding from the Government.
