SAIRASS started its social activities with a modest beginning focussing on the health to the economically weaker sections especially people living in JJ clusters. To commemorate Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary SAIRASS organised its first free medical check up camp and free distribution of medicines at Majboor Nagar bassti, JJ Cluster, Mandawali, Delhi on 5th October, 2003.
Shri Naseeb Singh, MLA, I.P. Extn. Inaugurated the medical camp as Chief guest and Shri Ramesh Pandit, Councillor graced the event as guest of honour. During the decade long journey slowly and steadily SAIRASS has grown to the present level with great support of many like minded people with their contribution in many ways and the commitment and devotion of its members.
