1. INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY :
SAIRASS Celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March, 2018 at B-20, Joshi Colony with young women as well with Senior Citizen Women. As the Women’s Day celebrates to mark the achievements and economic and social growth of the women in the society, Women’s Day also helps to create awareness among the rural women about the worldly affairs. SAIRASS selected theme on ‘equality and gender parity’.

2. INDIAN NATIONAL FLAG FORMATION DAY on 1st April, 2018.
Sri Pingali Venkaiah Charitable Trust (R) Delhi Unit and SAIRASS NGO celebrated “ 97th National Flag Formation Day” on 1st April, 2018 at E.D.M.C. Pratibha Vidyalaya I, Chandra Vihar, I.P.Extn. Delhi.

3. Ambedkar Jayanti on 14th April, 2018

SAIRASS sincere efforts and support to the Leprosy people gave impact on the lives of leprosy patients at Kasturba Gram Kusht Ashram, Tahirpur, Delhi.

SASIRASS (SITA All India Research and Social Services (R)) a social organization celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti with the under privileged on 14th April, 2018 to Commemorate the ‘127th Birth Anniversary of the great legend of India ‘Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’ at Kasturba Gram Kusht Ashram, Tahirpur, Delhi.

4. Telangana Formation Day : SAIRASS Participated in Telangana Formation Day celebrations held at Telangana Bhavan, No. 1, Asoka Road, New Delhi on 2nd June, 2018.

5. MEGA HEALTH CHECK UP CAMP
SAIRASS organized a free Mega Health Check up cam on 17th May, 2018 at Conference Hall, Kakaateeya Apartments, I.P. Extn. Delhi.
More than 100 people availed the facility and benefitted by the camp. Experts and Senior Consultants Dr. Mukesh Goel and Dr. Santosh, Shri Vishnu Prasad, Kameswar, Garima and Nursing staff M`s. Bhavana, Rashmi, Kaushlya, Amanpreet from the Apollo Hospital conducted the health camp.

Health Check-up Camp focused on the following areas:

  • Free Blood Pressure checkup
  • Random Blood Sugar
  • ECG (If required)
  • BMD Check-Up
  • Height, Weight, BMI
  • Consultation with Physician.

6. NATIONAL DOCTORS’ DAY
SAIRASS celebrated National Doctors Day on 1st July, 2018 in the memory of great legend Physician and Bharat Ratna Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy at Gurajada Hall, AP/Telangana Bhawan, No. 1, Asoka Road New Delhi.

The programme was started with Ganesh Vandana by Master Adwait followed by a Power Point presentation on the life history of Dr. B.C. Roy.

Around 60 Doctors attended the Doctors Day celebrations. The programme concluded with the National Antham.

7. Pingali Venkaiah 141st Jayanti
Sri Pingali Venkaiah Charitable Trust, Delhi Unit and A.P. Govt. paid tributes to Sri Pingali Venkiaiah on his 141st Birth Anniversary on 2nd August, 2018 at Dr. Ambedkar Auditorium, Andhra Pradesh Bhavan, New Delhi.

Honourable Vice President Sri M. Venkaiah Naidu ji and Sri Sridharacharyulu, Information Commissioner, GOI. , Resident Commissioner, Andhra Pradesh Bhavan Shri Preevan Prakash, IAS. and many other dignitaries present on the occasion.

Children presented a programme on Vandemataram which was appreciated by the Vice President and specially called them on dias for a photograph.

8. ‘SAIRASS’ CELEBRATED INDEPENDENCE DAY
SAIRASS celebrated Independence Day at Bharateeya Public School and Play Way, Mandawalli, Delhi on 14th August, 2018.

Around 100 poor students studying in this school participated in the programmes and showed their talents without any fear or hesitation. SAIRASS gave away special gifts to the participants in the programs and distributed exercise books, pencils, ball pens, erasers and refreshments to all the students.

The Programme concluded with National Anthem.

9. SAIRASS President was honoured on Independence Day by JAI BHARAT NAATIONAL PARTY from Andhra Pradesh.

10. SAIRASS President falicitated by “National Excellence Award” by All India Best Arts Academy, Hyderabad on 20th Aug. 2018

11. Pravasandhra Theater Academy :
SAIRASS actively participated in the cultural programmes organized by the Pravasandhra Theater Academy,

12. Christamas, New Year:
SAIRASS celebrated Christamas and New Year. Organised competitions in drawing, debate and fancy dresses to the young children on the occasion. Prizes given to the children to encourage them. Children prepared beautiful colourful Christamas Tree.

Santa Claus distributed gifts to children. Elders as well youngsters enjoyed the function by exchanging Christamas and New Year Greetings to each other.
